PT. Jakarta Land is a foreign investment joint venture company incorporated 1973 jointly owned by Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd, Shing Kwan (Pte) Ltd, and PT. Metropolitan Kencana. Jardine, Matheson has been established for over 185 years. It is one of the largest, most trusted and varied conglomerates in Asia. Among its many other interests it controls Hongkong Land, which is one of the largest property companies in the world. Shing Kwan (Pte) Ltd. and its associates, in turn control a majority shareholding in Singapore Land, which is one of Singapore's largest public property companies, and has extensive international interests in many other fields.

PT. Metropolitan Kencana was part of one of Indonesia's largest private industrial groups, which included Indocement, the country's largest cement manufacturer, and Bogasari, largest flour miller. It also had extensive interests in banking, insurance, hotels and real estate including the 400-hectare Pondok Indah housing estate. In line with the dynamics of business, the ownership of PT. Jakarta Land later changed to Hongkong Land (PPI) BV, Celestial Enterprises Holding Ltd., and Berca Group.

We owns or manages about US$ 2,500,000,000 worth of property in Jakarta, about half of which is owned by us and about half managed on behalf of other clients. We also undertake and arrange land purchase, construction, property finance management and marketing. We specialise in office buildings, apartments, and shopping centers. We also managed the development and construction of World Trade Center I, II, III, V and VI, Indomobil Office & Showrooms, Indocement Office Building, Honda Mugen Showroom, just to name a few. Projects were always completed not only within budget and on schedule but also pertaining to the highest standards.

PT. Jakarta Land Management was incorporated in 1998, a new company focusing on property management business and any services related to property business. Along the way PT. Jakarta Land Management has been managing hundreds of buildings in and outside Jakarta. Currently three hundreds employees including sixty managers are working under our management. Together we offer you a vast array of expertise ready to help in consultancy and research, project management, marketing, property management, etc.

To avoid any conflict of interest we have a separate management structures for the management of other owners buildings. However the experience and expertise of our entire company as well as that of our associates is available to solve any problems.
